Global Food for Hunger is a non-profit organization dedicated to eradicating hunger and poverty worldwide. We believe in a holistic approach that addresses the physical, educational, and spiritual needs of individuals and communities. Our mission is to provide nutritious food, quality education, and spiritual support to those in need, empowering them to break free from the cycle of poverty and lead fulfilling lives.
Our Inspiration
His Divine Grace A. C Bhaktivedanta Swami Srila Prabhupada
His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada is the founder-acharya of the Vaishnava religion known as the Sankirtan Movement in the western world. Born in 1896 in Calcutta, India, Srila Prabhupada dedicated his life to spreading the message of Bhakti-yoga, the path of devotional service to Lord Krishna.
In 1965, at the age of 69, Srila Prabhupada ventured to the United States with a mission to share the timeless wisdom of the Vedic scriptures. Beginning in 1966, he established and nurtured various institutions and worked tirelessly to propagate the teachings of Krishna consciousnessworldwide.
Srila Prabhupada emphasized the importance of compassion and service to others. He famously said, “No one within a ten-mile radius of our temples should go hungry.” Inspired by his vision, his followers and devotees have instituted programs for free distribution of prasadam (sanctified food) to billions all over the world, including the Akshayapatra Foundations own programmes

Madhu Pandit Dasa
Our Chairman
His Grace Madhu Pandit Dasa is the Chairman of Global Food for Hunger Inc. He is a disciple of Srila Prabhupada and has been serving His Divine Grace for over four decades.
Madhu Pandit Dasa is known for his visionary leadership and tireless efforts in serving the underprivileged. He conceptualized and established the Akshayapatra Foundation, which has been instrumental in expanding the reach of spiritual food (prasadam) distribution to mid-day meals in schools all over India and recently crossed the four billionth meal distributed.
With the same visionary zeal, Global Food for Hunger, Inc. is now poised to address the general problem of Hunger in all its forms around the world. Under his guidance, Global Food for Hunger Inc. aspires to make a significant impact in the lives of countless individuals and communities worldwide.
Chanchalapathi Dasa
His Grace Chanchalapathi Dasa serves as the Vice-Chairman of Global Food for Hunger Inc. He is disciple of Srila Prabhupada and has dedicated his life to serving humanity through the principles of Krishna consciousness.
Chanchalapathi Dasa is known for his compassionate heart and innovative approaches to tackling social issues. He has been actively involved in various initiatives aimed at uplifting the lives of the underprivileged, including education, healthcare, and spiritual care.
His leadership and guidance will significantly shape the vision and mission of Global Food for Hunger Inc., ensuring that we remain steadfast in our commitment to serving those in need.
