Hunger (Body)
Our direct food supply program aims to provide immediate relief to those facing hunger. We distribute nutritious meals and food packages to individuals and communities in need, ensuring that they have access to sustenance for their daily lives.
Srila Prabhupada, Founder-Acharya of the Hare Krishna Movement, once wrote: “We, the above institution, have got our spiritual communism idea, and we want to see that not a single person, man or animal, remains hungry or in want of material necessities of life. According to our philosophy, a householder or substantial citizen of the state has to see not only after the well-being of his wife, children, relatives and dependents, that they shall be properly taken care of and will not starve, but also even if a lizard lives in his house, he should see that it is not hungry. Therefore, to give all facilities of living condition to all living entities is our Krishna Consciousness movement.”

In the Bhagavad-gita, Lord Krishna emphasizes the importance of food in maintaining the body and soul. He says,”All living bodies subsist on food grains, which are produced from rains. Rains are produced by performance of yajña [sacrifice], and yajña is born of prescribed duties.”(B.Gita 3.14). Further, He states, “The living entities in this conditioned world are My eternal fragmental parts. Due to conditioned life, they are struggling very hard with the six senses, which include the mind” (Bg. 15.7). Providing nourishing food is essential to alleviate the suffering caused by hunger.
Srila Prabhupada, established the Hare Krishna Food for Life program, which has been distributing free vegetarian meals to millions of people worldwide. Inspired by his compassionate vision, we at Global Food for Hunger Inc. aspire to scale his noble mission of feeding the hungry at a Global level unlimitedly.
Our food supply program not only focuses on providing physical nourishment but also aims to distribute prasadam, sanctified vegetarian food offered to Lord Krishna with love and devotion. By distributing prasadam, we not only satisfy the hunger of the body but also provide spiritual nourishment to the soul. It is an act of compassion and love that brings people closer to God and fosters a sense of unity and harmony among all beings.
Join us in our endeavor to alleviate hunger and spread the message of compassion through our direct food supply program. Together, we can make a difference in the lives of countless individuals and communities, one meal at a time.
Education to Break Poverty Cycle
Education is key to breaking the cycle of poverty and hunger. As the saying goes, “Give a man a fish, you feed him for a day; teach him how to fish, you feed him for a lifetime.” Our education programs focus on equipping individuals with the knowledge and skills necessary to secure a sustainable livelihood.

As the saying goes, “Give a man a fish, you feed him for a day; teach him how to fish, you feed him for a lifetime.” Our education programs focus on equipping individuals with the knowledge and skills necessary to secure a sustainable livelihood.
However, education is not just about skills, but also about character formation. Srila Prabhupada writes: “A learned man treats all women except his wife as his mother, looks on others’ property as garbage in the street, and treats others as he would treat his own self. These are the symptoms of a learned person as described by Cāṇakya Paṇḍita. This should be the standard for education. Education does not mean having academic degrees only. One should execute what he has learned in his personal life.” (Srimad Bhagavatam 4.16.17 purport)
At Global Food for Hunger Inc., we provide a holistic approach to education that combines practical skills with spiritual wisdom. Our vocational training programs equip individuals with the necessary skills to earn a livelihood, while our spiritual education programs help them develop character, integrity, and a sense of purpose.
Our education programs draw inspiration from the ancient gurukula system, where students not only acquire academic knowledge but

also learn valuable life lessons, such as humility, self-discipline, and service to others. By imparting a well-rounded education, we aim to create responsible and compassionate individuals who can contribute positively to society.
Join us in our mission to empower individuals and communities through education. Together, we can create a brighter future where everyone has access to knowledge, skills, and spiritual wisdom.
